How many miles/km do you get out of your tank (Gen3 V6)?
Hi guys,
Just curious how many kms can you guys get a out for full tank of petrol on the Gen3 V6 Touring ??
I think mine hold 70 litres and i only get 400-450 kms on a full tank, i usually drive 20% on highway.
I can get anywhere from about 550 to 700, but usually average 600+ per tank.
What are some good investment to improve mileage ???
I change my oil and oil filter every 3 months...didn't change my spark plugs often as i would like to coz i got a V6 engine and its a pain in the bum to change the 3 rear spark plugs, but i got those spark plugs stating it would last a while before changing it needed.
Typically I get around 360 miles (575 km) on a tank; 400 (640 km) if I let it run really low. But it varies with the season. I've kept a log of almost all my fill ups since it was new, and a graph with a ten point moving average shows I'm averaging 24 MPG in the winter, and 26 in the summer.
My commute is great for mileage. 22 miles each way, with most of it at 45 mph on asphalt country roads. It's running barely above idle RPM most of the way.

Reason: MPG correction after checking
My 1993 SE V6 5Spd. Got 20 MPG no matter what I did. City, Highway, it was always 20 MPG.
But I have a heavy foot. Highway was usually 80-90 MPH Cruise. City was usually 45-50 MPH
My 1995 LE I4 gets 30 MPG Highway, 24 City.
I get around 300-350 miles before my fuel light starts coming on... when i do the math it equates to 20-24 mpg... i sorta wish i could get past 25... but i think it's more or less because of the v6.

I get about 340-375 mile/per tank. It depends on how heavy my foot is feeling. I do about 60% city 40% highway. I will be driving to Chicago in November and I am curious to see what it gets just purely highway. I am going to do my plugs and air filter before I go and see what happens.
My ex-wifes 05 Camry V6 with her and I an our dog with luggage did 550mi on one tank. It was about 32mpg with the A/C on! We left Atlanta and made it to Indianapolis on 1 tank!

LazyAccent has a Gen3.5, not Gen3. It's a different engine.
I usually get 21mpg. I REALLY wish I could increase this. But I have to say, my wife's LE I4 is getting about the same right now Last thing I have to replace is the O2 sensor.
