Recently the light on my ignition barrel just gave out. I wanted to know if anybody here knew how to change it? Or if there are any threads/stickies on how to do this? If you could direct me towards them it would great!
Also, I wanted to change the original light of greenish color to a blue color ... can anybody let me know if that is actually possible and if so, where can i get the bulbs for it? or is this something I would I have to ask my dealership to do?
You can get bulbs for it. I have no idea what size those ignition bulbs would be. But it you wanted to make all your lights orange, just take off the green plastic covers.
As for how to remove the shroud, I was wondering that myself. Haha.
You can find blue light bulbs, you just have to remove the old ones and replace them with colored ones. Or you can buy "condoms" that are colored pieces of plastic that slip over the light bulb.
Stock camry's have green condoms on the light bulbs in the dash, radio, etc.
you have to remove the panel under the steering wheel to get to the bulb...i'd recommend that you remove your drivers seat to give you more room to work in.
