hesitant starter.
i have a 99 camry 2.2
with just over 210,000 miles. no engine rebuild yet.
but i have a starter problem.
i thought it was the start motor,
so i replaced and got a refurb starter motor.
but then a few days later the car wouldn't start again.
so i exchanged the starter for another, and installed.
then after about a week, the car wouldn't start again.
but i can hear the click and a faint electric whine from the starter.
and after a turning the key a few time it will eventually start up.
but after it starts up, it'll start fine all day long.
but the next morning, i'll try to start it and it'll be stuck.
it almost seems as though the flywheel might be stuck.
cause sometimes when it does start, it sounds like its cranks a little slow at first for like a half a second.
i don't think the starter is the problem. but i'm planning on ripping it out and taking it to get it checked.
does anyone have any suggestions of how i can remedy this problem?
