Clock, locks, dome light and fuse? Please sanity check me here....

Hello all,
I think I know what's wrong and how to fix it, but please sanity check me as may be needed:
Dome light's dead and replacing bulb didn't help. Clock keeps resetting to 1:00, and power locks won't work if the car's (99 Camry, 4cyl.) not on.
I've done some forum searching, and I'm thinking it's a fuse. I think I understand that a number of these car functions are on the same fuse.
Sound plausible? I've done other stuff on my car that seems more complicated than replacing a fuse (just replaced the starter a few weeks back), but I have never actually replaced a fuse before. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
John

The 2 fuses for those items are in 2 different places. One behind the change tray, and the other in the engine bay behind the baterry. But the way your describing it, it sounds like an electical short. If it is the fuse, the clock should not work at all.

BTW, I just checked the manual (Brilliant!) and there's info on where all the fuse boxes are, what they do, how to change them....
