I don't know if this works in 10 mins or not but I have two things that work pretty well for me. Originally, I wrapped a paper towel around the base of the filter. That caught most of the drips and was right there to wipe up the rest. Later I tried a twist on the "loosen the filter" technique. During the oil drain I loosen the filter enough for air to get under the gasket (I think a little more than just loosening it but not enough or long enough to leak) and then quickly snug it back up. I do that again shortly after. I usually do this 2 or 3 times during the change and by the last time it doesn't seem to dribble any. I speculate that each time I loosen the filter enough, enough air gets in to allow the oil to drain out. However, I usually do this over 20 - 40 minutes so results may vary.
