That is the question. When I put 18's on my Cam I had every intention of lowering the car. I took measurements and did an ass-load of Photoshop to find the look I wanted. I know I am setting myself up for some rich responses here but, I like the stance the car has now. It is aggressive as hell. The body lines are accentuated to near perfection from an oncoming traffic POV as well as from a standing POV front and rear. If anything I think that a .5" drop in the front would make it as perfect as it could be just to lessen the tire gap. But I think even this would make the rake a little too steep. I gotta tell ya I have been back and forth on this since I bolted those rims on. This decision is not for lack of funding to drop the car. With 245/45/18 rear and 235/45/18 front and the offset these rims have...I think it would be a mistake to drop it, from an aesthesthic POV of course. I think I am going to keep this highboy the way it is and improve the handling at the height it is at. It just has a muscle car appeal this way that would be lost otherwise. Any comments?
a camry is not = a donk ... never should be, never will be ... not saying its a "tuner" either, but it definitely looks better lowered with any wheels, especially 18s which look so big on stock suspension / ride height

LOWER IT!!!!! Let gravity do its part and bring it to the ground. Photoshop will never look as good as in real life. Drop it, slam it, do something, just bring it down closer to the ground.

Bare in mind that those pics are on an upward slope. It does have a healthy rake as is. Also an RMM lip is going on. This will make the car look lower in the front anyway. The only thing that bothers me is the tire gap up front.
Got the same debate myself of lowering or not. Looks good as it is, but the front looks a bit on the highside, but then again, I slightly rub at the back on the stock springs but I think it may be because it's worn.
Once you get a lip on it will definitely change the look of how it sits, but might look good with a small drop. Maybe wait until you get the lip on and decide at that point.
Where I live dropping too much can be an issue once winter hits, especially if we get the snow we did last year.
From a performance stand point, lowering even a little is a better idea. Especially in your case due to the size of the rims offsetting the already high ride height of the car. The only reason my car isn't currently lower is my retarded driveway and the fact that I'd get stuck if it was any lower. The picture with the drop is about how my drop is now. BTW, those rims didn't come off of what i think they came off did they?
I love the 'high ride height of the car'. I've always found camry's feel low to the ground for me, but then again, I've been so used to driving a lifted jeep, all cars seem low to me Just made me chuckle. thanks!
stock height with 18s....looks like youre ready to go muddin or rock crawlin... youd be surprised how little a difference a 1.5" drop will make (except that is in how good a cam looks) also something you will find out quick...with a good spring on there that small drop may not even look different, i mean those springs on that car, and those struts are (probably) what 12-16 years old? i know tossing the wore out stockers on my 4 gave it a nice rake, lowered maybe an inch from where it was on broke ass country road running stockers, and i had sooooooooooo much less sag and movement i can go over speed bumps beter now that im lowered then i could on stock!
