hmm

Your computer raises the RPM when the AC kicks on to lessen the effect of the AC clutch suddenly locking up and turning the compressor from a dead stop. That part is normal. The clicking you are hearing is the compressor kicking in and out. You are either low on refrigerant or the PSI in the AC high side is too high. Either condition will cause the compressor to kick in and out at that 30 second interval. Have your AC checked out and the problem will go away.

What he said, X2!

How is the A/C working, cold? Where do you hear this clicking noise, inside or outside? Check the sight glass to see if there is any bubbles, which means low refrigerant.

Hmmm i turn on my A/C yersterday, while i was at the stop light...i press on the brake petal quite hard so it won't move....i feel the clicking noise and at the same time the car jerk a little, also was driving today noticed the RPM dip down to 6000 RPM usually its very consistant at 8000 RPM.

You must have meant 600 and 800 rpm. Why do you have to press on the brake pedal so hard? 800 rpm isn't that far off from the normal engine idle speed, and 600 is where it may drop down to when the compressor is engaged. So was the A/C blowing cold? And where was this clicking noise coming from, inside or outside the vehicle.

Reason for pressing it down...its because when the RPM surge while the A/C running...i can feel the car move forward!!!
Yes the A/C is blowing cold air, and the clicking sound is from the compressor.

If your brakes system is functioning properly, you shouldn't have to apply any abnormal amount of pressure on the brakes t keep it still. The rpm surge isn't large enough that the brakes will be over came by the change in rpm. Have the brake system check if you are not sure.

It sounds like everything is working pretty much normal for your car.
