I'm looking at a nice use 94 Camry wagon but it needs an engine. A rebuilt runs between 3,000 to 4,000 excluding install. Are there good used engines out there, where can I find them?

Couple places to try are Ebay (only if good feedback), and www.car-part.com

I;m not sure what places online sell good used engine. I;m sure someone else can chime in tonight.

I think its like 500-1000 for a engine. Just make sure you have the right engine. Not sure which it is but its either the 3vz-fe or 1mz-fe. Also if its the 1mz-fe, the gen 4 1mz-fe is different from the gen 3 one.

Craigslist always has toyota and honda motors for cheap. They usually only have like 30k miles and are in between $500-$1500.
