well 6 lbs is about what you can handle on the auto tranny before any problems start to pop up...especially since your turbo. unless your considering goin 5 speed or upgrading the auto tranny id stay at the level your at, or just say screw it. build the car to handle your goals with no problems first. but at 6 lbs even on the auto tranny you should be around 230whp.
I just don't see why he's "testing the limits" when he doesn't care about his tranny and the fact that he has a spare motor. I would still do it right.
its true what bigbird said, 195 doesnt seem to be right especially with the v6. With his v6 pushed 211 stock internals i believe at 5lbs of boost on his supercharger. Asg14 with his supercharger is 204 at 4psi. and Dawgs ( on solaraguy ) is pushign 200something on 5.5lbs, something is completely messed in your setup

6lbs on his tiny turbo is the problem, it doesn't provide the flow massive enough to produce any respectable manifold boost which ultimately only kicking him ~200hp right now. I remember he said somewhere that the turbo was off a volvo or something which is like ~1.4L 1.8L.

true, with a turbo to small 6psi isnt squat. didnt think of that.

depends on how long you want your tranny to last. most SC guys develope problems around that range aftert a short while.
very true on that point...but with such a small turbo, if 6psi means that it's spinning fast and hard (though, I don't see how, smaller turbos usually spin well beyond 10-15psi before they'll spin the bearing haha) the air's getting pretty hot and he's probably getting detonation so the ecu is pulling timing

CFM > PSI ... you guys are forgetting this ... "6 psi" doesnt mean anything, unless you know the specs of the turbo ... its not necessarily a lot of boost for a turbo his size
like i said on your last threads, there are more problems than you realize just judging by your numbers from your first dyno ... id still like to see a parts list with full details (aka: model numbers, not just generic names) and maybe some of us could point out some potential problems

from watchin the gauges on that last pull, it seems to be pullin pretty hard for a small turbo and junkyard setup on low funds. What dyno where you on, seems like the correction could be wrong and I bet if you were on a different dyno that number may become higher. Nice pulls though, mph moved up quick.

oh hm....I didn't realize that you already had meth injection installed...then at this point, and intercooler won't help all that much except work your turbo even harder to get the air moving
but yes, as venom said of course...in the end, it comes down to cfm, not psi. but presuming that it's a small turbo, 6psi can't be much.
