3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I recently swapped out the stock 15'' for a new set of 17'' with new tires. The tires have smaller side wall (low profile) compared to the old ones.
Then i noticed that there appear to be some light vibration on highway speed. So I just wonder wheather it's just a common problem with low profile tire, or do I need to rebalance all the wheels, and how much does it cost.
get it re-balance.. depend on where you go, the price will vary..

Thanks,
Did you swap out the stock 15" set with an aftermarket 17" set? If so, you might want to check your lugnuts to see if they match according to the style of wheels you have. Also, did your new wheels come with the proper hubcentric rings? This also has an effect on vibration and make sure that your lugnuts are properly torqued all around.
they are hubcentric rings that center the rim on the hub. not all rims need them.
it could be a host of things. look up the wheels and see if they require hubcentric rings. because its a periodic vibration id get it rebalanced and see if that helps.
