Quiet car idea

Hey guys

While most people want louder intakes and exhaust, I've been thinking about ways to make the car much quieter. What's the best way to do this (i.e. where does most of the cabin noise come from?)? Doors? Firewall? Vents? Help me out please! I'm just playing around with this idea of having the smoothest, quietest camry around.

Just turn the radio up louder..... j/k

Your wheel wells and floor could probably use the most sound deadening. I know some people have installed the hood liner and have noticed a decrease in engine noise.

Get one of those noise cancellation systems. That's what Honda does in their V6 models with cylinder disable.

They put microphones in the car and then play cancellation sound over the stereo system.

I just get the magnaflow installed like 5 hours ago for just $40, driving to work and back home locally with windows down and my left ear drum kindda hurt when i rev it to 4k

Another weird thing is that eventhough the muffler set up is on the passenger side, I feel like it's on my side, some where right behind me. Havn't got a change to hear it from outside the car, but from inside, men, not so quiet as many have claimed.

Now I do understand how those ricers become more retarded over time

I used 10445 for low profile http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAGNA...mZ330274613063

There wasn't any special set up, simply ask the shop to cut out the stock muffler and weld the new one in. It costed me $40 and 30 mins.
