Door Locks Not Working!

Hey guys I have a 1998 Camry, I was installing the dome light bulb and I blew the fuse, I replaced the fuse for the dome light it works fine. But then I went to lock the doors afterwards they were not working. I turned on the car and the locks work fine! Any ideas on what could be wrong? Sorry I didnt get a chance to search I am on my way to class right after this!

Thanks
John

Hey, I had a similar thing happen to me a few back (and I'm also a student named John.... weird...). I replaced the fuse and that fixed everything for me (light, door locks...), so I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with yours (my car is a 99), but is there maybe another fuse gone bad? I got out my owner's manual and in the back there were some maps of where the various fuses were and what they did....

Same Issue

The other day I was out at my buddies farm, we ran to the store to pick up some food etc and when we came back into the car I was unable to unlock any of the passenger doors also... As soon as I turned the car on it was gold... Havent had any issues with it after but knock on wood.

At first I was quite upset thinking id be spending my thanksgiving outside working on the car...

Found the problem, the dome light fuse was burnt out in the engine bay. Replaced it, door locks are working, clock was dim, now is working again.

Thanks!
