Hey guys I have a 97 camry i4 and just had my car serviced at an independent shop. I got my oil changed, oem front pads and rotors replaced, front brakes realigned, 4 new toyo spectrum tires, drain and fill transmission fluid, replaced right rear outer C.V boot, replaced engine valve cover gasket, replaced flexible pipe for the exhaust system, replaced air filter. The total was $1130 does that sound about right? Thanks
Heh...you either just got ripped off, or they explained something to you wrong, because just like ASG stated, there are no boots on the rear and Ive also never heard of 'aligning the brakes'.

Ok, that doesn't seem to bad. Only 2 things I'd say was a little high is the labor on the CV Boot and the trans fluid change. But honestly, everything looks fine, so I wouldn't worry.

5 Lug Corolla WHAT?
maybe they mean "resurface" the rotors, not "realign"?
prolly wouldnt go back to that shop if it were me though
prices seem reasonable however - DIY woulda saved u a bunch of money, i couldnt imagine paying someone nearly $60 to replace the VCG after ive done it myself
