It has done some damage to the cylinder so I am just looking to get a used motor to bolt in rather than do a rebuild. My question is can I put in a California emissions engine? The dealer said that everything is the same except the emissions stuff which I can put on from my old engine. A junk yard guy however told me that there is some Crank sensor that the CA emissions engine doesn't have. So I was hoping someone on here can clarify this for me.
