i wanna make my camry fast..

k, i have a 2000 white toyota camry.... I wanna make this mother fucker fast as shit. How do i go about doing this without putting a whole new engine in it? I put an intake in it there other day, but what else should i do?

well.. im not looking to make it a frigging drag racer.. I just want to make it fast enough to be able to keep up with people when i street race=/


I raced someone yesterday and they owned the shit out of me.. he has a "350 small block" under his hood

First I suggest that you find as much info as you can on the engine that is in your car. Once you know what it is realistically capable of with certain modifications, you will by then have a sense of what it will cost to get the power that you desire. This sites FAQ section may be of some service to you in that respect. However, there are a large number of other resources out there if you Google it.
