Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.

Most people would tell u "do more research", but I will be nice here.
The 3.5 and 4.5 are called the "face lift". The only differences u can expect to see are the headlight, taillight & even the bumper set up, almost everything else stay the same.

Typically, each new Camry is sold for 5 years, and the car will be revised slightly after the first 3 years. This refreshed model is produced for 2 years and is generally referred to as the .5 model.
Most of the time, the refresh changes the headlamps, tail lamps, and bumpers. The engine is sometimes changed but that can happen at any time. For example, the 2003 Camrys had 3 different V6 engines.

keep in mind when some say gen3 or 4 they may mean both models with in that generation. like gen4 and 4.5 fenders are the same, but a gen4 bumper isnt the same as a gen 4.5.
