I've come to a conclusion...I want BOOST! Supercharge, Turbocharge? Tubro it is.
Yeah, i know the 5s, isnt the best flower, 3sgte has come to wiring, and mounting problems; and i dont feel like paying extra to get it wired and stuff. Even though I can maybe do it myself, i want to put in the key and have it start, not put in the key and check to see what is and isnt connected. So I've come to a decision; 5sfte is the way to go. I dont know much, but i know enough to continue with the build. Atm,te the 5s is staying as is. Depending on what the income return is, I want to get forged pistons, and forged connecting rods if everything is good because im deciding to paint her, but i dont have a place to put in her after she is painted so im guessing painting might have to wait till the summer. But i currently have the following parts for the Turbo:
Tial 12mm Bov ( i think i havent looked at it for a while now )
3sgte MR2 manifold
4 440cc MR2 turbo injectors
My list is small because funds arent here yet. The following still needs to get bought/made:
I dont know what else im missing, the turbo im getting is a T3 Garrett turbo rated for 240hp, which is about what I have to make. I dont know what else is missing and I'm always looking for advice/help.

what is your power goal? your list needs to be reworked and your budget re-thought
look at Rdizzle's post as well as one of presure2's builds on 6gc ... otherwise you will probably end up with another unreliable build, or you wont hit your numbers at all

i still dont know what to get, just the need. I've talked to pressure2, and he is running stock internals, dont know about his injectors. I'll have to look over the injectors because i honestly dont know if they do work, i got 4 for $40 so i couldnt miss out.
My goal, isnt high and will stay there, i want to reach at least 250whp, so it'll be around 280 at the crank, knowing those are high numbers, i wont except myself to reach that high.

The thing about the camry, is that its a car people like you dont think as a fast vechile. It has it potentials if everything is built right. Nowadays most of these modern cars are drive-by-wire, No mechanical linkage to the throttle-body, computer controls everything, it sucks. And getting a faster car, yea i want one, but this is my current project. Its like owning a house, why repair it if you can you a new? Most people repair thier homes because they own it and dont want to start paying for another. Well i own my carmy, no payments are needed for it, and right now i really cant afford a new car, with payments as high as $500+ more a month and cant do anything to it besides drive it without including insurance payments. And the new sports car almost everyone has it, its not fun owning a new car that fifty people already owning in your town.
Luckynumber5 im not going to jump right into the build, im taking my time slowly adn i'll ask questions. Pressure2 on 6gc.net told me that i can ask him any question aobut the 5sfte build while im doing it. Venom_5 knows his stuff from what i've read. I will take his advice do research, and ask questions. BUt they wont really help in doing the build, you learn how to do things by doing them, if you mess up its your own fault. The advice is there to help but most of this people dont live anywhere near me and really cant help in building it, just tell to what to do or who to ask, YES it helps but not like an HANDS-ON LEARNING EXPERIENCE. YOU may know how to works, what has to be done, but once it coem to HANDS-ON most people cant do it since they are used to what i call BOOK LEARNING, reading on how to do stuff without actually doing it.
fernum49 thanks for the link, but i dont trust any turbos off eBay, thats the only thing i wont get off eBay for this setup. Plus my buddy owns a S/C Mustange which he worked on himself, i trust him, so if anything does happen to the turbo i can always take it back to him not having to have it shipped.

Man whats up with all these people wanting to turbo their camrys. Its a camry, if u want a powerful car, get another whip.
to you it is just a camry. some of us like our cars so much and we may want to take the time money and effort to make them faster. bother you?...dont read these threads.
edit: this is a turbo thread...not a why turbo thread. comments liek that pull it off topic and dont help the OP so please try to refrain from doing it.
pressure2 is running n/a rx7 injectors. the mr2 injectors you just bought will not work as they are side feed and not top feed.

hmmm.....so you're going to build the block for sure though, right? because otherwise, 250whp is a pretty far off goal on the 5sfe
since when?
its pretty standard for most celica and mr2 5S-FTE guys ... and they dont build the blocks ... 225-250whp and as high as 275 ft-lbs tq in presure2's case
shannon's 5S-FTE @ 16.7psi on a stock longblock ...
to you it is just a camry. some of us like our cars so much and we may want to take the time money and effort to make them faster. bother you?...dont read these threads.
It's just like why? For the amount of money it takes to make any real power, your better of buying a different car.
Like 200-250hp on a camry, thats nothing special. So why even bother trying to achieve it.
I'm not trying to hate just being realistic.
