4th GEN EYELIDS

Just wondering if there is any interest in a group buy for eyelids for our 4th gens. I've got a guy who strictly makes eyelids that will make us some if there is enough interest. I'm thinking if I can get 10 people for sure that want a set we can get this going. Price tag will be right in around $50 shipped. If you've got some PS skills and want to put your 2 cents in on the design let me know, but as it stands right now its going to be something thats just on the main headlight not stretching over to the corner lamp, which just makes it a lot easier.

This is what the design will be:
http://www.toyotanation.com/photos/s...php?photo=8725

Only difference being is that the eyelid will be of a lot better quality; A thick fiberglass w/a 3M backing. It'll come in primer and you can paint it to color match or whatever youd like.

This application might be able to work with the 2000-2001's, but for not sure as yet.

Anyways put your name down if you're interested and lets make this happen.. not enough parts for our cars out there I will be posting highly detailed DIY guides for shaving the dimple off of the headlight and painting the eyelids. Everything is being done for you, just show your support if you like how these eyelids look.

One other thing. 4th Gen guys as you know our headlights have that dimple on it. The dimple will need to be shaved off for these eyelids to work. After i get the response I will post a highly detailed --picture documented DIY for shaving the dimple off. It is very simple and should not take more than 15-20 minutes to do very well.

Yeah let me know what other styles you guys are thinking.. only reason i chose this design is because making an eyelid that goes over the headlight and the corner lamp is a lot harder.. and costs more because the guy has to buy both. I've posted this on basically every forum I can think of that has 4GEN camry owners. If this is a success we'll definitely be getting applications for all gen camry's and for the 00-01 i believe we are trying to make this a universal application for both.

I see what you're saying.. u want it across the corner as well and you want it pretty much right where the headlight angles off...basically the eyelid would be that whole angled section. I'll pitch it to him and see what he says.. but first we need a ton more interest than this.. I thought the response would've been a lot better.. feel like I'm wasting my time.. none the less ..keep the feedback coming in

btw your camry looks good, definitely nice work finding fogs to fit that bumper, I think blacked out corners would finish off the look.
