3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I did a search, but couldn't find too much information in regards to the forced induction of the 1MZFE. I tried to get in touch with Tony the Tiger from this forum, but he hasn't returned my PM and I tried calling his store dynamotorsports and got nothing but an answering machine.
I found the part code for the original SuperCharger TRD was producing for the 97-01 series Camry V6, but I can't seem to find anyone selling it anymore.
nobody sells them anymore ... try getting one used if you see one for sale on the boards, or over on the Solaraguy boards as well
talk to King (username: Eye8Pussies) about FI on the 1MZ-FE, or Adam (username: ASG14) ... both well-known members of the boards with the TRD S/C on their gen 3s

Thanks man, I figured that was the only way left to go. Didn't want it to be true, but I guess that's life. This is technically my 2nd car and a daily driver, but I wanted some more power because my "weekend warrior" is this:
if you drive a turbo M3 then either leave the camry alone or hold out for a TRD SC. its a true bolt on and requiers very little beside the kit to work. i have one on my gen4 and love it! also look on solaraguy.com, they go up for sale every now and then. there are also a bunch of supercharged solara owners there which are the same as the camry and they will be helpfull too.

5 Lug Corolla WHAT?
Thanks for all the help. I didn't look into the solara forums yet. Hopefully something will pop up because like you said the Gen 4 with that supercharger is probably fantastic.
Just so frustrated that I can't find one from a dealer!
im sure there is one in the dusty stock room of some dealership somewhere. you can also keep an eye out on the MR2 boards. there are a good amount of guys that swap in the 1mz and then supercharge it.
with a few mods, no tune and the stock 4lbs my auto put down 200whp. when you put that on a car with 180K miles and it runs perfectly, everyday, then i think its a great combo for a DD.
Chang, nice M. What's all done to it? And since you must have a decent cash flow, want to be my sugar daddy and get me a supercharger for my camry? lol
Usually when I see a very new user who just registered onto this forum with less than a handful of posts sending me a private message, I most likely ignore it.
Sorry ChangM3, but your shallow history on this forum makes me think that you haven't been researching enough on this forum... The answer could have been found just by searching the old topics because I get a lot of PM's on a regular basis, and I don't enjoy going through the basics with each and every person
If you have any more specific questions that requires experience or more in-depth info, you can PM me again.

No problem Tony The Tiger. I'm not offended at all.
Figured I would go directly to the source of all information which is Toyota and just ask. Make my life easier.
As you can clearly see, I'm not in any rush to Force Induce the Camry, I figured I would ask because I couldn't find the Kazuma Supercharger for the car so I asked if you had any other suggestions on where to find it.
www.toysport.com was supposedly carrying a brand new one, but when I tried to get in touch with them it was just another dead end.
I also tried calling you, however I received no answer on the line which was posted on your website, is it still connected?
