Which ones would you run with, does anybody have any viewpoints on either one?

Well, I have the Ksports and I love them, the only real difference I know of is the thumping sound witht he D2's, either are a good choice the Ksports might be a bit easier on the wallet IMO

you dont have to go d2 or ksports...you also have the choice of going JIC's if you wanted to like grkballer did on his camry....he hasn't been around lately though..
the teins i don't want because they utilize the stock mounts, the jic's are a bit to pricey for me. I am leaning towards the ksports because they come with a better spring rate than the d2's, even though I can change either one to what I want.

I believe both are made in the same factory if Im not mistaken, so I dont see much difference in the two. When I was researching a couple of months ago for the solara (same coils as the gen 3), D2s were about $100 cheaper, but they were always on backorder for like 6 weeks from japan.
I just don't wanna get them and then have problems like some have had with seals busting and needing to send out for repair. That sucks and don't wanna have to deal with it alot. I understand they are coilovers and will need repair from time to time but not often I hope. I wish teins would come with pillowball mounts. I have used teins on 5 cars all with edfc and that is the best setup I have ever had.

What spring rates would some of you recommend for a car that will be daily driven, autox'd occasionally and taken down the 1/4mile. Remember, I am doing a hybrid turbo build.

If you're gonna spend that much money, save a bit more for some JICs. The quality of K Sports from what I've read and seen on other people's rides doesnt impress me. No good if you're constantly replacing dampers.
^ my k sports were better quality than my JICs... had two blown struts with JIC and none with k-sport and owned both for about the same time period. Not to mention a rebuild on JICs is outrageously priced... its $300 for a cartridge and you have to install it youself. JIC is more baller, but isnt worth it on daily in my experience.
I will say the JICs were stiffer though, which has its positive and negative aspects depending on what you want in a coilover.

ride quality on most coilovers will suck, unless you get ones with progressive spring rates ... i dont think anyone makes those for the gen 3/4, but bilstein makes a set for the E46 BMW for example, my buddy has them and they feel like stock suspension on normal driving but are fully adjustable
build quality ... well K-Sport USA doesnt make coilovers with the best dynamics but since none of us are taking our cars to Road Atlanta every weekend it doesnt matter a whole lot ... most problems you see on forums (especially Nissan forums) are due to poor installation
i still dont support k-sport as being "quality", but i do agree with damon and will say that you probably wont have problems with k-sports any more than JICs

to be honest... Tein's and JIC's are the only ones that are made in Japan... Out of that group ... K-Sport strickly made in Taiwan and D2's same manufacturer just re-badge...
The Tein's from the Flex up is made in Japan and the rest from the flex down is made in Taiwan..
JIC's on the other hand the only thing thats made in Japan is FLT-TAR series the FLT-TAS is also made in Taiwan...
On a shock dyno ... Tein's and JIC's fair better theres more difference in ride quality when change shock response settings...
But, I havent followed on JIC's quality control... I remember about a year or two ago their quality control wasnt there... You would have 2 of the same setup and one set would ride harder than the other or it would perform better ...
