3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
So i've picked up some 2 piston brake calipers and rotors from a JDM toyota aristo front clip. At U.P. Garage (University Place Garage) and seems like they fit. with only a little mods done to the calipers. ill keep you guys updated and will post pics soon.

94-96 V6 with ABS were 2-piston fronts. The 92-93 and 94-96 without ABS were single piston. They use the same Pad, rotor, and line. I;m NOT sure if the caliper bracket is the same between them or not.
also, the Wagon and ES300 have slightly larger rear rotors.

5 Lug Corolla WHAT?
Damn, didnt realize some gen 3s came with two piston. I've heard you can go to a 2 piston setup on the gen4s and solaras, using hardware from a lexus gs I think? Anyone know anything about this? I need to do my front brakes again and looking for a possible upgrade. I think the rotors are larger too with this setup? And would it clear a factory 15'' wheel?
Update: Everything is on and it stops mighty swell

Im using parts from an aristo which is basically the gs series here in the states. The gs brake lines wont fit. what i did was custom make some steel braided lines. the calipers and caliper mounting brackets take a little work but they will fit. and the rotors are larger too. and do not clear dust shields. nor will the 15" wheel clear the brakes.

I might actually take you up on that Milt; just gotta find someone to install em correctly, I had my left caliper seize on me last time I tried messing w/my own brakes.

Lazy, thanks for the info. I guess I'll just stick to stock sized rotors. Gonna try cryotreated ones this time since the brembo blanks wore out too fast for my tastes
