I pulled my 98 v6 camry out of storage as a daily driver in the winter months and when I let off the accelerator the car shakes violently. Took it to a reputable shop and they said its something with the tranny. Anyone else have problems like this?

I've got a '98 XLE with nearly 283k miles on it and still the tranny is fine, as is the engine. The rest of it...well...it's on its last legs.

In all gears? In neutral too? How are the mounts? You can get a second opinion with ATRA transmission rebuilders assoc member shop (some are duds however but better than the typical corner garage):
