Gen 3 audio advice please

Okay, so I am happy with the Alpine type-r 12" that I put in my driver. Now I am ready to put a modest system in the Camry. On previous posts I have read that people were having trouble with subs in the trunks of their gen 3's, specifically that the trunk muffles the hell out of most of the output of the sub. I am wondering if I might get some input from a few of the folks that have installed a sub or subs in their gen 3's and how they overcame this problem. I have a Pioneer DEH-P7300 head-unit that is a few years old that I will be using. Also I picked up an MB Quart Reference Series RAA2400 amp that I will be using to power the sub or subs if I need to buy 2. I am going to stick with the Alpine type-r 12's. If the trunk problem is too much to deal with, I have prepared to mount the 12's in the rear deck in custom enclosures. However, I would like to avoid this if a suitable ported box containing 1 or 2 of the 12's in the trunk will be enough. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

All I did was fold my seatback(s) down to let the sound into the passenger compartment. Worked fine for me, and I had the subwoofers facing the seatback, so if they were up, anybody who sat in back was treated to a sonic massage

Your right the subs get muffled a LOT in the trunk. I had the back seats down and that works very well.

Right now i removed my rear speakers and just put my port holes there.

the easiest way is to just fold the back seat down. i wouldnt suggest fabricating the 12's with custom enclosures because thats just too much imo that just folding em down.

two 12's will create some good vibration outside of the car so make sure you got something like foam under your rear lisence plate, and check for other spots that may cause the "ricer vibration", like the jack and spare tire, ect ect..
im running only an eclipse ported 10 and that thing makes my back fender vibrate.

put the seats down, and face the subs towards your back.

when you mount your subs, have them facing the trunk so that the sound reflex will bounce back inside the car. and yes put down the back seats, it will make a huge difference. and i good way to prevent any raddling in and outside the car is to use dyno mat, it will help take away all the vibrations. especially the liscense plate because that will make alot of noise so either put the dyno mat behind the plate or padded tape. that is what i did to mine. i have 2 kicker competition 12's.
