smoking..
ok my 92 3vz always had a smokey problem from the engine bay ever since 2 years ago. i thought that oil was leaking from the valve cover gasket, so we replaced those at around 140,xxx miles (1st change ever).
but i was curious one day to see what would make it smoke. after an oil change i floored it on an empty road up to 60 and parked it, popped the hood and opened my oil cap to see some white smoke comming out slowly which kinda creeped me out. usually it comes out from an area closest to the firewall..maybe some slow drippage onto the flex pipe?
any idea what else it could be since it was comming out of the oil cap?
is my camry close to its final days?
whats also strange is that the weather has gotten somewhat colder and it started bogging on start up and i could smell gas...then it dissapeared after seafoming...then oddly comes back..my tachometer is busted so i cant see if my rpm's are bouncing. can anybody tell me wussup with that? oh yeah do i have to change my whole cluster to fix my tach?
