Automatic Shift Lights..

So mysteriously a week or so ago, I turn on my lights of my 97 camry on and the lights for P R N D 2 1 aren't working. My friends Supra which is a 96 had the same thing happen to him. I'm wondering if this happened to anyone else and how hard is it to fix?
I can't see it being a fuse. Do i have to take apart my whole center console to change a bulb?

Sometimes, you can get away with just taking the top of the shifter off.

The lights in the dash of my 90DX work, except for the PWR and NORM lights for the transmission mode, and the light doesnt come on for Neutral.

The ones on the dash are individual bulbs, while the one in the console is just an illumination bulb.

Yeah it's the ones on the shifter console or whatever people call it.
I'm guessing it may be a bitch to change and not even worth it.

Some people do just leave it alone, and there isn't really any need to look at it after you have put it into drive.
