I am getting 17" wheels soon, and really like the stagger offset look. For example UfoZ's camry and I believe scweet's had it also. Does anybody know what offsets they had?
The wheels I am getting are 17x7. I am looking at 42 in the front and 35 or 32 in the rear. Fenders will be rolled also. What do you guys think as far as fitment goes?

the reason i want the different offset is for more lip on the back. I really like the look of UfoZ's setup.

did you PM megamac83?. im almost positive he has the same width and offset but has a different size lip. basically the spokes contact the rim in a different location further back making them look liek they are wider and have a different offset.
fitment will be miserable...
get +35 all around ... might want a 5mm spacer in the rear at that
8"wide +35 with a spacer in the back on my car was gonna be almost 100% flush
How will the fitments be miserable exactly? I didn't know you had wheels. And exactly what do you mean by almost, stick out, tucked in slightly?
I plan on getting 7" wide wheels, don't know if they are available in 8"wide.

ok so i have been playing around with this site: http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp
The first setup I use is the oem 15" steel wheel at 15x6 45mm running 205/65/15 tire. Comparing to the specs of the HPD wheels I want which are 17x7.5 and only available in two offsets 42 and 20. Comparing the 20 offset, the site says I will have no problems with suspension or fender clearance and will have a 1.6" lip, which I want a nice lip.
What do you guys think?

miserable in the sense that it will be too sunken in ... and since you want a big lip, the more flush the better so you can optimize lip size - so to speak
if you cant get something wider, then get lower offset ... for any decent wheel company, they make the lip larger for lower-offset and wider wheels, so you get the idea
but as far as clearance goes, you wont have any problems - i highly recommend rolling the rear fenders regardless of what sizes/offsets you get just because its a fairly simple procedure and will save your tires from damage, in addition to allowing you to have a better range of wheel/tire size selections
best of luck in whatever your choice is tho - as far as those 17x7.5 +20s, you will definitely have to roll the fenders but they would probably look great fitment-wise

I hope they will fit, cuz if I order them and they don't then I am screwed.
