I was just looking in to muffler for my camry. its a 4cyl and i dont want anything that sounds gay i am looking for anything that has a good tone. I just want some ideas for some good brands for a 99 camry.

I had a magnaflow muffler with 2.25" piping and a resonator. I think it sounded really good. It didn't drone at all and had a nice mellow tone.

Search on youtube, a lot of people here have posted videos of both the gen3 and 4 i4's. Magnaflow and Apexi are good brands.

the TRD muffler sounds good if your willing to put out the money for it. personally i like magnaflow, areoturbine and borla on the 4cyl.

Ok thanks dose any one know anything about i think its called Mad dog or big dog or something like that i forgot but its sapost to be almost the same as some form of magnaflow. or so says my local shop The guy there said they use to but on magnaflows but these are just the same but they are called like big dog or mad dog i think he said thats what they have been putting on 4cy and 6 and they have been sounding really good. so dose any one know anything about these ones?

ok so i got the muffler yesterday its a mad dog muffler it sounds real nice i would get it for any 4 or 6 cyl car very nie and a good bost in torqe and horse power.

Post some videos/pictures of your setup. A simple muffler won't give you power or torque.

yes vids are great

the bump in power is in your head. the stock muffler flows well so the addition of a muffler just sounds good. it does "seem" to be faster but thats just the sound tricking your senses.

Not jus tricking, it acutally damages your sense ... I can't hear crap out of my bluetooth now.

I would post some but i dont even have internet im taken it off of houses around me so my connection is not very good it takes alot to just get on here. but i should be getting internet in my housing development around the first of the year. but all i have right now is a wepon air intake and the mad dog muffler. i have had a slow start on the car but since im not spending as much of summer fun i will be abel to spend more i think.
