Fixing the exhaust on a V6, need info

So I bought a 94 Camry Wagon with the V6 and the exhaust pipe needs to be replaced. As a DIY guy and a cheap bastard, I don't take anything to a dealer and get f'd in the a, it's not my style.

Looking around on the parts sites, I find 2 different pipes: BOSAL and MAREMONT. Both relatively cheap, but don't know what real world experience poeple have had with them. Can anyone give me some feedback on either one?

Just go to an exhaust/muffler shop.

My recommendation as well. To be honest, you don't really need any "brand name" piping; just take your car to your local muffler shop and they'll custom bend you some generic piping and weld it all in for you; hey, might as well get a new muffler too, while you're at it.

When I upgraded to bigger piping alone (before I cracked and went ahead with the new muffler) it set me back about $50; it took them like 30 minutes to cut out the old piping from the catalytic converter to before the muffler and fabricate the new one.

I should have mentioned, it's the Y pipe and the hole isn't able to be patched. And I'd love to get it from a yard, but they are usually buried deep here in Cleveland and it's getting cold and wet outside.

Well if you're not willing to get under a car when it's wet and cold and your fingers are freezing off, then you're not that cheap!

There are probably some yards/parts recyclers that will pull it for you. I got a Y pipe for my wife's 93 V6 years ago for $70 or so.
