In my T100 truck...I had 2 fuses to check/replace. Dome was one and the other was the CIG.

I blew that same fuse in my '97 too. Thrice. The door locking when the car is turned off won't work, nor will the windows. And the dome, cig lighter, clock won't either. I don't remember what the fuse is numbered, but its in the fuse box in the engine compartment near the front rows. It's a 7.5A fuse, if i remember correctly. Good Luck!

Try pulling the coin box out left of the steering wheel. Should be the bottom one on the right. 15A

That's the 1997 Camry XLE fuse map on the back of the coin box door. To remove the door, just open it and pull straight up.

replace the cigaratte lighter fuse labeled "CIG" on the fusebox diagram....the dome lights, cig lighter and clock all are on the same circuit on the gen 4 camry, and that fuse is quite commonly blown
