power steering going out?

today i took the camry out for a quick spin. after about 5 minutes of driving as i am pulling into a parking lot, i lose my power steering. i scratched my head and went into the store. 5 minutes later i hop back in to head home. car is driving fine until about 2 minutes into the trip. i lose power steering again, but only for about a minute. then i pull onto my street and lose PS again and this time there is a faint squeal. i wrestle the car onto the driveway and park. belt tension is good, fluid level is spot on so i am at a loss of what the problem could be.

i took a quick peak around the steer rack to look for leaks to obstructions, but didnt spot anything. it was/is cold and raining so maybe i overlooked something. suggestions greatly appreciated.

is there a power steering pump? might wanna check that. If not, maybe a flush might do the trick since maybe something is clogging it
