Hey guys,

quick q.

I did a quick search to see if anyone has done an oil cooler on the auto 1mzfe transmission.

is it worth it? I run the car very hard and the transmission very hard, and feel like its a good preventative measure. has anyone done it and what were the results?

so are you talking about an engine oil cooler, or a transmission oil cooler?

but regardless, both has been done, and both are always good ideas if you run your car hard or live in a hot climate

thanks, thats exactly what i wanted to hear. Its really cheap, 30-100 bucks depending on GVW size.

I will do a DIY to add to the list also, for those people that run hard and are worried about tranny problems.

^ That'll be great. I intend to put in a B&M Tranny cooler in the future so it would be nice if there is a DIY on the installation process.

Definitely go with the stacked plate type.
