Camry '97 V6 1MZ-FE Engine Noise

Whenever the engine is running at any speed i here a loud clicking/ticking noise. It speeds up to match the RPM. I can't pinpoint the exact source but i have a hunch its either the valves or coil pack. My friend with a Avalon '97 has the same issue. Any Suggestions?

Can you narrow the noise down to some general area that it is coming from? Valves make noise maybe, but coil pack? Why do you think so?

It seems to be coming from the far bank of cylinders. Middle Cylinder.
Anybody had this before? What Was It?

Take the coil pack off and check to see if the spark plug has come loose. Just one possibility.

How many miles on the car? Has the plugs ever been replaced?
