4th Generation Make Model Type Q ?

Hi,
How do I find what is my engine type? I looked every page in the operating manual. All I know is its v6 automatic. ( I feel that I'm missing out when you all mention 1mzfe and so on... )
Also, how do I find what model my car is, SE, LE, CE ... ? I don't have that logo on the trunk of my car.

the gen4 ONLY came with the 4cyl/5sfe and the V6/1mzfe. now you know.

one way to check is to look up the VIN or guess based on the cars options.

And the Gen 4 never came in SE. Look at the trunk for the trim type. If none currently on, look at the paint for the emblem outline.

the plastic cover for your timing belt reads the 1mz-fe, also the best selling class for camrys are the le and most around are. i believe xle models come with alloy wheels only, unless you got a v6 le. le models have the hub caps. i know on gen 3 le's most are cloth interior with hubcaps.
le v6 camrys have hubcaps but with a different design and a single dual exhaust in the back.
v6 xle camrys have alloy wheels, single dual exhaust,
rom what ive seen most with leather, and the center console doesnt have a handbrake, the cubbie thing in the middle is bigger. because the e brake is to the left of the brake like a clutch peddle would be.

i think ce models have fewer luxeries like non power windows and with 5 speeds as well as les.

oh and xle camrys have a different cluster for temp and such, instead of switches their buttons.

Why don't you call up Toyota and give them your VIN and ask for details
