Short in speaker wire?

So i was driving down the highway yesterday and my back right speaker started to make this static noise.... I change a bunch of settings and it didn't fix anything.
I turned my Head unit OFF and it was still making the noise.
The only thing different is that it's cold outside. You think the change from hot to cold has made some wires come loose?

Is it possible that you blew your speaker?

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see that you said it does it when it is off.

Are you sure something didn't fall in there? Are you sure it's coming from yer speaker?

Yeah, it's def the speaker making the noise. But i didn't think that a blown speaker would make static noise when it's OFF?

The Radio No 1 fuse is for radio memory, the Radio No 2 fuse actually powers the system.

Try removing the Radio No 2 fuse and determine if the speaker quiets.

If the radio DOES NOT have an anti-theft system were if the power fails a code needs to be entered then you can try pulling both fuses.

The only way the speaker could make sound is current going to it. Check to see if the speaker wires have voltage going to it.
