Does anyone know the thread pitch on the shifter knob on a '97 Camry?

Some jackass in my auto tech class thought it would be 'funny' to take off my original shift knob, weld a long rob onto the shifter, and then place some walmart "racing" knob on top there.

I had to cut it off with a hacksaw and the threads are ruined to the point that I can't measure them...

So now I'm stuck trying to re-thread this shifter and I only have one shot and I want it to be right. I don't want to replace the shift linkage either.

prolly M12x1.25 ... im sure theres a listing of thread sizing by make somewhere, usually most cars within the same make use the same sizes

M12x1.25 is also the thread used for the oil pan drain bolt, you can check with that at the store. M12 1.25 dies are not easy to find so do not bother with hardware stores. you will need to check with machine shop or industrial tool supply.
