Aftermarket Stereo Won't Turn Off

I recently installed a Kenwood KDC-222 deck in my 97 Camry. Everything works fine except the thing doesn't turn off when the car is turned off and the key is pulled from the ignition. The illumination stays on and will eventually drain the battery unless I remove the faceplate everytime I exit the car.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

I made sure the Radio Switched 12V wire was connected to the same wire on the stereo and no luck.

The radio has two power wires.

One is hot all the time to power the radio memory (might be Blue/Yellow).

Power from the ign key is the Gray wire.

You may have connected the radio main power source to the hot wire not the ign key wire.

Excellent, that must be it. I'm pretty sure I wired the yellow/blue wire to the radio's main power source. I'll try rewiring this and hopefully I'm good to go.

Thanks!
