3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
195/70-14 Goodyear INVICTA GL. It's seen the ground maybe twice while I had flats repaired. It's in beautiful appearance, but well past its storage life and I would hope not to ever use it except in the direst of emergencies.
I also have the Goodyear Invicta GL in the 195-70HR 14. I am the original owner and that tire has never been on the ground. That reminds me; I probably should check the pressure in it, just in case I ever have to use it.
The original tires, including the spare, on my Cam were Bridgestone Potenza RE92's in 205/65R15 size. At the moment, the spare is a Dunlop D65T in the same size. I always use the spare in my tire rotation when it's a full size tire.
Why do you ask?

2001 Yamaha FZ1, Ivan's jet kit, resprung all around, Ohlins in the rear, Race Tech cartridge emulators in the forks, 45k miles.
My car still has the original 205/65/15 Bridgestone RE92 as the spare. Our other camry had the same tire, but currently theres a Bridgestone Turanza instead.
On my dad's '96, it was Goodyear Invicta GL all around including the spare (195/70HR14). I was a bit surprised to see tires made in USA as the car itself was made in Japan (VIN staritng with J).
My gen4.5 was the same. It had General H/P400s tires (including spare) and this car was also made in Japan.
