Hmm. This is a good idea. Hey Majic? are you using white LED's? which ones?
Besides, I wonder how are you going to able to put them on the sockets we have? Are there LED bulbs which would suit them? can you give some more details., Thx.
(P.S: Do you know any LED tail Light bults I can buy, without changing the electrical socket system inside the taillamp housing. Thx )

Hey. I got my LED License plate bulbs from eBay, for a fraction of the price. If you want, i can post my seller on here. I bought the 194 Blue LEDs and they look so good at night. =)). It was pretty easy to install. Just remove the plastic clip and then pull out the entire casing by a 45 degree angle downwards. You don't have to buy any add-ons or anything extra, most LED bulbs are true "plug-n-play". (I'm a computer geek). Good Luck.

Inverted cones are not that great. Go with this and you will be very very happy.
This one is a four LED and will be very bright, but if you go on EBAY you can get the three led type that aims forward only. You don't need the leds to go sideways as long as you get SMT LEDS <== remember that!!! SMT have almost a 145 degree spread and since you need two of these they will light up real nice.
Flanks are good but when mounted inside the housing it doesn't spread downwards, Instead these spread light inside. Get top mounted SMT LEDS which output straight down to the ground! It will also give a nice floor effect in the night!
