Rear Tail Light

I just purchased a 98 camry and the tail light dash light is on and the blinkers dont work but everything else does, any help would be appreciated.

When you put the turn signals on do the lights come on but just not blink?

A common issue is the third brake light. It is high mount one inside the rear windshield.

If changing that doesn't help, you might wanna take check every bulb and socket for corrosion and clean it off.

The turn signal lights dont come on but they do with the flashers

From my manual there is a separate fuse for turn signals (7.5amp) and hazard (10amp). I'd check the fuse first. The same flasher is used for both turn signals and hazard with an input from turn signal switch and hazard switch. I guess the flasher could be bad and after the fuse that would be your least cost try. After that I'd look at the switch. Use a test light to confirm power transmission to components.
