I don't know how the rears are, but I just replaced the front left on my Cam. The old one was so corroded in place, the back end snapped off when I pulled on it. Then I used a needle nose pliers to pull the guts out of it; basically a boatload of fine copper wire windings. Then the outer shell came out by cutting thru the outer plastic body that was still stuck firmly in the hole. Once it was out, getting the new one back in was easy. I suppose you could use some PB Blaster or something like that, but I still doubt the sensor would come out in one piece. Since it's bad anyway, why bother trying?... Just go directly to the nukes.
The one thing I can say about the rears on my '92 is this: The sensing face of the sensor goes inside the bearing cartridge where it reads the toothed ring. This area is sealed off to keep debris out of the open (non-sealed) wheel bearings that live inside. Be careful not to let junk fall inside when demolishing the sensor. It might get into the bearings. The safest way would be to pull the bearing cartridge out beforehand.
BTW NEO, I owe you an apology. A while back I disagreed with you when you said there was a small magnet in the end of these sensors. While I was cutting out the old one, the end of the new one snapped itself onto my razor knife; magnetically, that is. Sonovagon!!
