camry wont fire with new distributor
I recently got an igniter, and a rebuilt distributor because my 94 camry killed while running down the interstate at 70mph.It seemed like it had something to do with the temp bucause if I wait 5 or 10 mins it would start again. There is no spark.It doesnt run at all anymore.Its been about 3 months.I pulled the codes and got code 12. No ne or g signal to ecu for 3secs or more after cranking.My car doesnt have a crank posistion sensor, or cam posistion sensor.Ive changed everything i could change. I need to know how to check for an open or short circuit between the distributor and the ecu. Can anybody please help me before I am forced to get my car towed to the shop, which i dont have money for.
