Turn signal failure

I have a 1998 camry and the turn signal's quit working, The hazards and all the lights work, but the light indicator on the dash came on. Any suggestions? The emergency flashers work, is there a relay for the turn signals behind the fuse box?

If the turn indicators bulb blows out, this is likely to happen, Did you open the rear and front light housings and check the bulb inside? If its blown, you've need to replace them. This happened to me once, when I broke my rear tail lamp and replaced it with one I bought from a salvage yard. The replaced one had a blown turn light. I later replaced them and it worked fine.

If the system works OK when the emergency flashers are used the issue may be in the turn signal switch on the steering column.

The emergency system bypasses the signal switch.
