2000 Camry I4 CE - rear sway bar

Anybody know the size of the rear sway bar for a 2000 Camry CE with the Fs-FE?

Also, am I right that I have to have the rear off the ground, but don't have to disconnect the end links to remove the sway bar bushings?

Thanks,
SD5
ps. I've searched the forums and have come up empty on this, so if it's there and I missed it, it wasn't because I wasn't trying

A 16 and 17mm bushing diameter is listed.

Suggest to go under the car and measure, if you don't have a caliper measure the circumference. If using inches divide the circumference by 3.1415 to get the diameter. Then 1 inch = 25.4mm.

The bushings can be changed without removing the bar or links.

Thanks

TOYOMOHO,
Thanks for the info. I 'mic'd' it using a poor man's micrometer.... an adjustable wrench! Came out 16 on first measurement, 15 on second. Turns out it is a 16 and is MARKED ON THE SIDE OF THE RUBBER OF THE BUSHING! However, 15 is a better answer, as there was noticeable wear of the bar from the bushing.
This was probably the easiest job I've ever done. ~30 minutes! After suffering with the thumping most of the summer and fall... well just glad it's done. Now on to the wheel bearing on the Odyssey:-)

How did you replace it with the swaybar in place? do you get split bushings? any recommendations?

The bushing is split, retainer is held on by 2 bolts. Easy enough job unless the bolt treads are rusted on.

toyomoho nailed it

Yes, the bushing are split. I did hit the bolts with penetrating oil the day before and that seemed to help. In 20/20 hind sight I would have replaced two of the bolts; one on each side. One catches the road grime more than the other and was noticeably corroded (one both sides).. but probably not a real problem. Trouble is I'm a keep it for 10 yrs kind of guy:-)
