You will need to take out the glove box to gain access to under the bag frame. There appears to be 4 nuts and 2 bolts holding the airbag into the dash.

sry to here bout your accident i was just in one 2weeks ago and both of mine deployed and i have replaced my passager one but dont know how to replace the drivers one would you let me know i got a few pics of what it should look like. but here is the quick breakdown.

1 remove the bottom of the glove box protector( black clip on piece) after remove the strip above that it will be 2 screws
2 you can now open your glove box and you will see 3 bolts that hold the glove box door un bolt them andd you can take the glove box door off.
3 you will now see 5 screws that are for the glove box itself remove and pull the box and and unplug the light (easier to work with). now with a 12mm wrench or rachet you will see 2 big bolts unscrews those and you are alomost done.
4 THE HARD PART. thos will be a pain in the ass depending on how your airbag door broke up you can go about this 2ways you can unscrew the airbag from the top 2 bolts. or from the bottom. its easier from the top just got to play with it. if you need help cuz mine was a pain to get out let me know i can try to provide better pics i didnt take nun when i removed mine 2 days ago.

i got lucky i went to a PULL and SAVE junkyard and got the air bag for $75. also got me a hood, a trunck with all lights and emblems and power antenna and relay for $75 dollars so if you plan on fixing your car go to a PULL N SAVE i saved big bucks and my car is just bout ready to go back on the road. heres a pick of mine deployed. DO YOU PLAN ON PUTTING IN ANOTHER ONE CUZ IF BE WARNED!!!! ITS A HEADACHE and most like u will have to leave one bolt un screwed.
