if i wanted to change my transmison in my 97 camry from automatic to manual how much would it cost and what are the parts i should get ?

Off the top of my head I'd say you would need:
transmission
flywheel
clutch
clutch pedal
clutch master cylinder and hydraulic lines
shift linkage
shifter
axles

It has been covered - use the search f'n - but the website above is one the best i have seen. Even though its gen 4, the parts are almost identical that you would need.
