Help to Repaint using Duplicolor

Yo, I Have a 1993 Camry. I just wanted to wanted to clarify which color the it would be if I decided to spray paint the car with Duplicolor. I really really want to get rid off all the Fade/ Sun Spots on the car. I am just a bit confused as to which color the car is.
On the Door panel the color list as
C/TR: 176/FC17. This is a Titanium Metallic Silver. I think?
But the thing is under the Duplicolor website the color match says code: 1A0 Platinum Metallic.
Just curious if this was the same color. Been trying out different paints before and it either comes out to dark or to light >_<

Here Is my car

Much help appreciated! thanks!

It doesn't look like an exact match.

176 is the color used in 92-93, 1A0 is probably the equivalent color from 94-96. It's not likely it'll be the exact same shade.

Either way though I wouldn't recommend spraying your car with duplicolor, it won't match exactly and will probably look worse than it started. You're best off just getting it resprayed.

Dude don't do it,

I went on ebay just a week ago and purchased paint for 6R1 (woodland prl (green)) for my camry. I also purchased a matching primmed fender. They sent me two by accident. I purchased 2 aeresol (custom mixed) of the 6r1. I started painting the fender. Did everything to the book and It looked decent at first. Then when I clearcoated with duplicolor clear, the base coat started to run and the clear orange pealed. I wetsanded like hell and it never looked right. It was so f---ed up. I took another fender and changed my technique a little more and it was still running the base and looked better but not as good if someone else did it. I was like f--- it and I went on ebay and bought a fender and a bumper that was custom painted for my paint code. Cost a lot more but much less then if I went to a body shop. They shipped it to my hosue and I put both of them on this weeken. My camry looks fucking sweet now. I have a new rear bumper and new fender. I decided to pull off all of the plastic side modling and wetsand it down till I see plastic and I repainted that myself and reapplied it with 3m modling tape.

That looked great afterwards. So for small jobs it's good. but for large jobs it will look uneven as fuck.

FYI: The side molding on the camry tends to fade and look white washed after a while.

Nice car. I would only use duplicolor spray to touch up small areas.

What type of wheels do you have? Lexus?

Those are from my friends 06 Civic . I really needed to get new tires cause my old ones were bare. He only used them for like 6kmiles and they were in the garage so he gave them to me. They are Hondas but they were free

Koa888,
FWIW, Iv'e had good results with touch up spray from www.paintscratch.com . Color match was dead on for both my Crapillac (black) and my daughter's Mitsu (red).
YMMV

That is what I used "paintscratch.com" the color was deadon. However, I wouldn't recomend painting anything bigger then a orange. Doing a whole body part will show up badly unless you are a rattle can master!!!
