Need Urgen help!

Hey all, I am in the process to change my timing belt..I just got the timing belt cover off..I found this pulley (don't know the name for it, take a look at the pictures)..seem very loose when resting on the timing belt..is it support to be like that..or it just happen to get loose? I mean..it's very loose..I can move it up and down when the belt still on..and the timing belt seem not that tight when I move the crankshaft pulley around..either that or one of the timing belt tooth got skip..anyway..take a look at the pulley in the in the pictures and let me know if this pulley support to be tight or loosely..thanks
(picture below step #36 in this link..thanks)

If your pulley is the one in front of the shiny aluminum housing this is the water pump. The shaft the pulley mounts on rides in a bearing.

The pulley should rotate (turn) freely in both directions but not move up and down. Grab the pulley and try to pull up and down without rotating it, the pulley should not move.

The pulley does NOT need to be aligned with anything else. It can rotate when you put the belt on, this is OK.

Hi, thanks for the replied..Yes, the pulley in front of the water pump. I can actually able to twist to pulley to move in angle..so I think the bolt behind to hold the pulley is loose or something..anyway..I just want to confirm before I move the pulley and water pump to replace with the new one..thanks

The pulley is pressed on, the issue is most likely the bearing.

Changing the pump is a good idea, the pump can break when running.

Looks like an aftermarket water pump.

I hope you are also replacing some of the seals too.
