Wheel speed sensor?

Hey guys, I have an 00 eclipse so I'm not familiar with ABS systems on the Toyota's. My girlfriend's sister has an issue with a wheel speed sensor, she says when she brakes she can feel the abs kicking back as if it was slipping when it's not and it dicks with her steering. Is there any way to pinpoint which wheel speed sensor it is? I believe there's on for all 4 wheels on her car. Thanks

Is the car in question a Camry? Yes, there is a wheel speed sensor on all four. If a wheel speed sensor has failed, there should be an error code set. Is there an "ABS" light (or something like that) lit up on the instrument cluster? If there is, then you should be able to get the error code read. If not, I dunno...

You need to have a scan tool that is capable of monitoring the speed sensor inputs to the ABS ecu; otherwise, you have to do some manual labor work, and check each individual sensor and its signal rotor for proper resistance or signs of damage or debris.
