Radio issue with 94 Camry

So yesterday my car wouldn't start. The battery was dead, reason behind this being that for some reason the headlights did not automatically turn off when I opened the door (after car was off) like it was supposed to. Unfortunately it was in the middle of the day so I did not realize that they were still on.

So when I went to turn the car on (4hrs later) absolutely nothing happened, but when I removed my key there was a clicking sound from the fuze box located behind the change holder (atleast thats what I use it for), down on the bottom left side of the dash. After some investigating I realized the headlight switch was turned on, so i turned that off and the clicking sound stopped.

I got a my car jumped and went to get a new battery (the battery needed to be replaced anyways), however ever since the battery died, the radio no longer turns on (aftermarket JVC) absolutely nothing happens. I thought it might be a fuse, but the dash lights all still turn on, and I thought they were on the same fuse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

Aftermarket system can or may have hooked up differently then the factory system, or there maybe some type of security code. Call or check online for information on your particular model to see if that is the case.

Check the door jamb switch for your head light problem.

sometimes aftermarket head units have a fuse built into the back. I'd check that.

Like N.E.O. said, you should probably clean your door switch. They get corroded and don't do their job well anymore... There's a DIY on here, it's a pretty simple 10-minute job.
