Ok so for xmas my friend is getting new rims for his rx8 and he is giving me his stockies. Just want to double check that they will fit with no rub. here are the specs
18x8
5x114.3
tires are 215/45/R18 < I think that tire size is correct i will have to double check. they are faulken super low profiles tho.
What u guys think?
I think i would just need 5 mm spacers on the rear.
May have to downgrade too 215/40/R18 but the tires are comming along free with rims so i would love if they fit and not have to spend $600 on tires (YET) lol
theyre 18x8 +50 i do believe ... which is an extremely high offset ... even for a FWD
they will be sunken in a lot, and might not clear the struts - so you would need extended lugs and spacers to get a reasonable stance out of them
id say a 15mm spacer in the front, and 20mm spacer in the rear ... since youre stock ride height you probably wouldnt have to roll your fenders

You can get longer studs and spacers at any auto parts store like advance or pepboys. Just make sure the studs are the best quality you can afford. You dont want those longer studs breaking off for any reason.

In addition to spacers, you'd probably want to get a set of hubcentric rings for the wheels as well. Mazda RX8s have about a 67.1mm center bore, while Camrys are at 60.1mm.
